Shenandoah Second Wind . . .

Pie Safe

Raised door panels from an early 19th century log cabin comprise the sides of this cabinet. They are fitted into a frame of double beaded planks recovered from a decrepit house which once stood near Ninevah, VA. The rest of the cabinet is yellow pine from the same house, cut and planed from old timbers, with the exception of the top, which is white oak boards from a barn near Edinburg, VA. These once framed a manger or feeding trough for cattle and horses. Tin punched panels are made of metal from the roof of the same house. $795.00
