Mission Style Mantle
Made specifically to replace the Contractors issue which came with the new home, this Mission Style Mantle was modeled after the owner's Stickly style grandfather clock. It boasts extruded tenons for the joinery and generous overhang ala Frank Lloyd Wright's philosophy of a welcoming home.The oak was recovered from an 1820's barn in Fairfax, Virginia, slated for demolition to make way for a housing development.
Custom made mantles in any style range from $1000 - $1500, installation extra. Price is for wood work only - tile borders can be puchased and installed separately.
