Mission Style Bookcase
This is a custom replica of a Stickley Mission Style Bookcase, with adjustable shelves to hold the owner's collection of Roseville pottery. It was made from oak sawn and planed from an 1880's barn which was dismantled in 2002.
Mission Oak furniture, such as that made by the Stickleys, was a reaction against Victorian furniture and drew its inspiration from the simple, clean lines of the Shakers.
