Mission Style Coffee Table
This Mission Style Coffee Table incorporates Mission styling to customer determined specifications. Instead of quarter sawn white oak, recycled wormy American Chestnut was used with walnut trim for accent. Both woods were recovered from a barn near Strasburg, VA.
Due to the rarity of wormy Chestnut, this piece sold for $300, with 10% of the purchase price donated to the American Chestnut Foundation. A similar item made of oak would sell in the $200 - $250 price range.
